Mitch Clingo, M.Ed, RCC

Mitch received his Bachelors of Arts (Major in Psychology) from Simon Fraser University and his Master’s in Education (Specialization in Counselling) from Thompson Rivers University. He specializes in working with youth and adults within Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) and Systemic Family Models. Areas of support include anxiety, depression, grief, anger, Autism Spectrum Diagnoses, ADHD, OCD, and others. He aims to support people with understanding our selves and others while making sense of the complexities and expectations of modern life.

Mitch places a strong focus on operating from a place of holistic health, strengthening factors such as sleep, nutrition and exercise; utilizing experiential and recreational strategies in addition to traditional counselling.

Mitch is also an experienced Career Educator, able to support youth and adults plan/explore potential careers as well as all preparations to obtain employment such as networking, resume/cover letters and interview skills.
