Stari Tupper, MC, RCC

Stari has a Bachelor of Education degree from The University of Victoria and a
Master of Counselling degree from Gonzaga University. Stari is also a Registered
Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia. Her over 25 years of experience as a
resource teacher in both public and private schools enriches her counselling
practice, specifically in supporting neurodiverse and at-risk youth and families. She
has extensive training and experience in working with youth living with Autism,
ADHD, trauma, attachment ruptures, anxiety, depression, and other
developmental disabilities. Stari’s attachment-based counselling approach allows
for other modalities to be integrated into treatment based on client need. Stari is
trained in Attachment Repair and Processing Therapy (ARPT) and has done
professional development in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Motivational
Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Stari specializes in supporting teens, adults and families. Her background and
training in trauma therapy and working with neurodivergent youth are areas of
specialization and interest. Stari’s warm, welcoming and non-judgmental approach
allows clients to restore their sense of self in a safe, comfortable environment.
